DIRECTIONS TO THE POSTAL PICNIC GROUNDS

Get onto North Front Street, Harrisburg past the I-81 exit headed toward Fort Hunter. Go past the Glass Lounge and right after you go thru the railroad underpass, take a right onto Roberts Valley Road. The Postal Picnic Grounds are about a mile up Roberts Valley Road on the left hand side.

Susquehanna and Lower Dauphin Area Republican Committees have teamed up to sponsor a golf outing at Sunset Golf Course on Thursday, September 17, 2009. DCCRW Fashion Show

The DCCRW Fashion Show is being held at the Sheraton Four Points in Harrisburg. Dauphin County’s own Kevin Brobson addressed the group.

Models include DCRC Chairman John McNally, Prothonotary Steve Farina, LP Supervisor Bill Hawk, Lower Dauphin School Director Sara Gellatly, and Toni Gilhooley.

Please join the Dauphin County Republican Committee at our Spring Event on Thursday, April 30, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at Troeg’s Brewery. Tickets are $50/person; $25/committee person.

Tours will be provided by Brewery owners Chris and John Trogner.

Food is by Rock Bass Grill, Duke’s, and Dockside Willies. Wine by Diageo. And, of course, beer by Troeg’s.

Reducing the size of government.
Streamlining the bureaucracy.
Returning power to the states.

These are all stances the Republican Party, in opposition to the Democratic Party, adopted early in our history. The Republican Party, since its inception, has been at the forefront of the fight for individuals’ rights in opposition to a large, bloated government.

For 150 years, our Party has found its purpose in its principles. We confront big challenges instead of passing them on to future generations. We move forward with needed reforms to make the government work better for citizens. We fight important battles and champion freedom because by expanding liberty, we make our nation more secure.

As the party of the open door, while steadfast in our commitment to our ideals, we respect and accept that members of our Party can have deeply held and sometimes differing views. This diversity is a source of strength, not a sign of weakness, and so we welcome into our ranks all who may hold differing positions. We commit to resolve our differences with civility, trust, and mutual respect, and to affirm the common goals and beliefs that unite us.

These are values worthy of a great nation. And they are values worth fighting for.
